(1) AMP and CCJP has listing for several Internet sign ups, and other indoor events.
(2) Plus two car caravans on Saturday January 20. I checked their Facebook site Saturday evening, and Sunday afternoon. All they showed were two videos with a large number cars and people with flags. No moving car parade. No dialogue or chanting. Plus later Sunday, they posted a new announcement that 5 of their members were arrested without explanation. And in the evening they were let out of jail.
(3) The explanation is given on Monday morning. Here is my abbreviated Copy/Paste of their latest (3-a). Same message at AMP and CCJP. Text shows they are long winded.
(3-a) Our plan yesterday was to hold a peaceful car caravan into Chicago to educate and raise awareness. Unfortunately, both caravans hit road block after road block in a systematic attempt -- organized by law enforcement agencies in and around Chicago, as well as State Police and the Illinois Department of Transportation -- to repress us.
After attempting to de-escalate and find alternate routes with local and state authorities, we were told that no route would be open to us!
For the last three Saturdays, it has become clear that the powers that be WANT TO SILENCE US! After three-and-a-half months of our protests, it seems as if they've had enough, and although the genocide hasn't stopped, they want us to stop talking about Gaza, about Palestine, and about Israel's crimes.
U.S. law enforcement is attempting to suppress our voices through intimidation and violence -- by arresting and trying to intimidate peaceful protestors. These tactics are similar to those used against our people in Palestine, but as they do not work there, they WILL NOT WORK HERE EITHER!
WE WILL DISRUPT BUSINESS AS USUAL UNTIL WE SEE CHANGE AND NO ONE WILL STOP US?
(4) Up till now I wrote my comments that I was surprised they were putting together parades and car caravans every week. Sometimes twice a week. All over the metropolitan area. Blocking car traffic for hours. Too many events to list here if you haven't already followed their demonstrations.
< IDOT has jurisdiction over the expressway system. >
< In Chicago, they need a parade permit to use either sidewalks or the streets for a large crowd. >
< They need approval from both the Police and Street dept. >
< A few of their videos are still posted on their Facebook sites. Scroll down to the bottom if you haven't already watched these. >
< Could it be we are getting involved in a shooting war with Yemen that the police are putting a stop to their demonstrations. >
