Thursday on school campus demonstrations. It's nothing more than old wine in new bottles.
(1) Los Angeles mayor sent in the police Wednesday evening to break up their encampment. But only temporarily. With the woke legislation in California state legislature; all the student protesters will be out on the street to resume their protesting. Maybe, and only maybe, will the outside agitators be kept off campus.
The mayor acted Wednesday evening because Jewish citizens came out Tuesday evening to do the job Los Angeles police were not doing. Their 3 hour long melee was shown nationwide on television.
(2) The agreement Northwestern University President Schill made with students amounts only to a reduction in the intensity of student demonstrations. The student demonstrations today are continuing, with announcements for more next week. Plus, Students for Justice in Palestine announced they don't abide by these agreements because they did not participate with the meetings. And several Jewish groups are criticizing the president because he is ignoring the Jewish students altogether.
Northwestern University president Schill has given into student demonstrations. To make a temporarily peace on campus. Ess gournish helfen.
School newspaper < Daily Northwestern > on Wednesday's edition gives details. I also looked at the Arab Facebook page for Chicago Coalition for Justice on Palestine. This gives their true colors. Their position is Students for Justice in Palestine < SJP > is not part of this agreement. They are exercising their right to continue their demonstrations at Deering Meadow; and join in at all other schools in Chicago.

Some of their demands are as follows.
# We will continue demonstrating at Deering Meadow, and join up wat other schools and the Arab community.
# Northwestern will provide a safe space for Muslim students, with its own building.
# Northwestern will divest with all American business' having financial dealing with Israel. This also applies to all other schools. My cynical question; What will happen to the stock markets if all schools sell off their portfolios? This means individual holdings, mutual funds, and retirement funds, etc. Will the Federal Reserve come in to create new money to stop a panic sell off? Today's television news gave the figure as 46 colleges and universities participating in demonstrations.
# Power to the people with all other anti-Zionist communities.
# We will not stop until we liberate all
of Palestine.
